Our Day at the Rodeo!

Well, we made it through a day at the rodeo! We started out by watching all of the professional cowboys do their stuff. It was a sight to see! Then we had some grub... good ol' beef on a bun! Then it was fun time... the kids got to participate in some events and our brave little Gracie decided she would try riding a sheep... and boy did she do a great job! Unfortunately her sheep decided to turn and go the wrong way so she never made it over the finish line, but if her sheep would have gone straight she would have passed it a few times! Gracie then also particiated in pony stick races and her team of 5 kids won the event! The adults then had some of their own events, such as dress the calf, barrel racing, and steer riding. Dustin was not having a part in riding any animals though, even though Gracie sure tried to convince him! At the end of the day they gave pony rides to the kids. Gracie loved this and went a few times! Emma had her very first pony ride too... with some help of course! Overall, we had a very fun day and now we plan to relax the rest of the weekend away!
