Where did the first half of summer go?

We are already in August, and I still have no idea where July went! Hopefully the next month will be much more relaxed and will go by a little slower! Although, Gracie is awfully excited to start grade 3 too!

As promised, the update on Emma, is that she is now 11.5lbs and 24 3/4 long. She still doesn't reach the charts for her size, but the Dr's are happy that she is growing and is healthy! Her sleep pattern has not been too great the last few weeks, but last night it turned for the better with her going to sleep at 11pm and sleeping until 6am then went back to sleep after nursing and didn't wake until 9:30! Let's cross our fingers the pattern will continue!

Emma and Gracie are really starting to enjoy eachother... they talk to each other and are always making eachother smile! Emma has also taken a fond liking to our dog Mikka. She likes to hold onto her collar (or fur, whichever is easiest!) and laughs whenever Mikka comes close to her. Here are some recent pictures of Emma and Mikka interacting with eachother!
