Summer Fun
Well, our two week period with Gracie is coming to a close. :( We had a lot of fun though so it's okay. It will be hard not to see her for two weeks, but once she comes back it will be school time already so we will just look forward to that! We had to buy her a whole new wardrobe as she has grown so much since last year too. She had a blast doing all that shopping... our pocketbook has a different opinion on it!
Yesterday Daddy had a golf day with his company so he was off having some fun and brought home some really nice prizes! He seems to think he will be golfing all the time in the next few years, but we will see where it all fits into our schedule (and pocketbook haha!)
While Daddy was off golfing, Gracie, Emma, Grandma and me went to Calaway Park for the day. It was beautiful out so we enjoyed most of the day there. As always Gracie loves the big scary rides and had a blast licking her extra large lollypop from the candy store all the way home!
As for Emma, she will be 5 months already in 4 more days... the time is passing way too quickly! I will be taking her to the drop in clinic this week to see how big she is and how much she weighs. She has started to sit up on her own for the last couple of weeks already and is at the point she gets frustrated because she can't move anywhere, but I'm sure that will be right around the corner too. Her sleeping patterns are all over the map during the nights... sometimes she sleeps right through until 3 or 4am... other nights she wakes up once in between. Hopefully we can knock out the 1-2am feeding soon!
Dustin is on holidays this week coming up and we might be taking on the project of painting the girls' rooms. It will be nice to have him home as I came down with a cold this past week so the extra hands will hopefully help it go away that much faster!
Here are some pictures of the girls at the park...
