New Beginnings

So today was Gracie's first day of Grade 3... wow! She was SOOOO excited to go to school she couldn't wait for the day to be over yesterday! We all woke up bright and early to get there in time this year (last year we were stuck in traffic with all the other parents and were a little late!). She got the teacher she wanted and I am happy with the little friends she has in her class too! I think it will be a good year! Here are some pictures of her first day (although the skirt got changed before we made it out the door as breakfast was spilt on it... but you get the picture!)

The other new beginning we are happy has FINALLY come... is our garage/apartment has begun the process today... they are hoping it will be complete in about 4 months... we are estimating about 6 though (you can never trust contractors/builders on time lines it seems!) It makes it real now that we have no yard left... we can't wait for it to be done now. We will update along the way, but here are some before and after pictures just from today! They started at 8am and it is now 6:45pm and they are still at it!
