Christmas Time!
One Christmas and two get togethers are over, and now we have a few more get togethers and then Christmas Day to celebrate. The kids Christmas party was great... Happy Feet on Imax was pretty cool. Emma had a little nap during it too so that worked out nicely! Last Friday we had our advent window get together which turned out really good too. I have yet to download pictures, but will add them on the next post! We have also got together with some friends for dinner and as always, had Dalyce in tears she was laughing so hard! Needless to say, we had a good time and Emma entertained us well! Christmas at Dad's was good too, we got lots of goodies and the kids got to play with all their cousins for a couple days. Dustin even got to play poker so it was a win win situation for all!
Only a few more to go.... wow, Christmas sure get's spread out!
Dustin has finally completed the basement electrical... I think it was a WAY bigger task than he had imagined! We have all 3 inspections this morning, so hopefully we pass them all and we can move on to drywall stage! As for the suite in the backyard, the windows and doors finally arrived!!!! They were only 1.5 months late! They have put in all the windows, doors, and even the garage door so insulation will be starting today. Our contractor says it will fly from here on in... everything is built and is just waiting to get installed. My mom will be listing her condo soon... so if anyone knows of anyone who wants a 2 master bedroom condo in great shape please let me know!!! It will be nice once everything is complete. Our basement has a long way to go, but it will get there!
As for Emma... her update is crazy! She will be 9 months old on Christmas Eve already.... ahhh! The time is going by way too quickly. We went for her 9 month check up and the Dr is so happy with her... she has finally caught up and is at the 50% for weight and 75% for height (not sure where that would come from). She has mastered crawling, walking along the furniture, and even pushing off and standing on her own. The other day at my mom's group I noticed she all of a sudden has a whole bunch of teeth too. They just cut through all together apparently! She now has 4 on the top and 2 on the bottom. Right now both Emma and I are really sick with a bad cold so the nights are awful.... but since both of us can't breathe we stay up and cuddle together all night long. Hopefully we get over it soon... her nose is running so fast I can't keep up with it anymore. We appologize now if we give it to anyone else!
