Whoops!
-As mentioned, we went to Calaway Park for Gracie's birthday. We also did a party at Grandpa's cabin at the lake where Gracie tried water skiing again... here is a Calaway Park picture, we didn't get a good picture of Gracie waterskiing because she didn't exactly "ski" for very long and our camera is a little delayed when taking pictures so everything we got is of her falling!:
-Otherwise we have slowly had some progress on our back yard! Dustin and I laid down all the loam and sod just after Canada Day (so much for getting the professionals to do it!) Dustin and my Dad have also been working hard on finishing up the fence, gate and garbage box... right now all we have left is a little bit of trim work which Dustin said he will finish tomorrow (if it doesn't snow tonight!) My Dad will also come and help block in under the deck next week and then we will be done!!! We put the sandbox all together and a little play barn so the kids should have fun next year! -My best friend Dalyce was married on July 14th and it was one of the most beautiful weddings I have EVER been to! It was held in Banff with the reception at the RimRock Resort. We had the opportunity to be driven out to Banff in the Hummer Limo which was awesome!!! I recomend the trip for anyone (in any limo, not just the Hummer)... the panoramic view out the side windows makes the trip 200% better!!! Here are some pictures from the beautiful day (unfortunately the only bad thing was that it was 36 degrees out so WAY too hot!!!):
This is Dustin and I on the deck of the penthouse suite at the RimRock... what a view!

Emma and her boyfriend Ryan in BC having fun together once again!
A cute shot of Gracie and Emma on the hike to the beautiful waterfall we stopped to see on our way home through BC and Alberta
Gracie and Emma posed on the rocks along the hike for some cute pictures!
-Another exciting event this summer was my cousin Carla's wedding in Edmonton. It was field hockey and golf themed and was a lot of fun! Carla and her husband are coaches for the U of A field hockey team and have been all around the world for competitions of various Canadian teams they have been on! What a cute couple they make!
The girls on the team made them an arch to walk through with field hockey sticks!
Emma had a lot of fun with the golf balls... and now dream's of being in the LPGA one day (wouldn't her Daddy be proud!)
-After all those fun events summer suddenly came to an end and it was school time again! Gracie has now started grade 4 and is excited to be in Division 2 this year! She is growing up to be such a beautiful young lady and we are very proud of her! Emma and her have really developed a very close bond as sisters, which is great as they are so far apart in age! Gracie keeps asking for another sister or brother, but we told her she costs too much so we'll have to think about it! haha... We are glad she is so happy with our family and we love having her every other week, if only it were full time!I take Emma to a play place/coffee shop and she has loads of fun there... this is her buddy chair pose (she has one with Ryan at 1 year old... and now this is with Brianna at 1.5 years old!)
I had a really hard time taking this picture cause I was laughing so hard.... Emma was trying to undress herself and got a little stuck!
Typical little girl... happy as can be when shopping!!! I'm teaching her early!
Well, I believe that is about it for now... that should be enough anyways! haha... We hope everyone else had a fun and eventful summer! Now let's all hope for a warm winter!
